The team consists of an Executive Officer, Clinical Nurse Consultant, Medical Advisors and an Administrative Assistant.

Our Commitment
We aim to enhance the care of people living with and facing issues related to a life threatening illness including loss, grief and bereavement.
We actively promote and support ongoing training and education for anyone associated with the care of people requiring a palliative approach to care and/or specialised palliative care.
We believe that interdisciplinary care is integral to best practice in palliative care.

The regional clinical nurse consultant:

Ensures staff, especially iin remote and isolated areas are kept up to date with current knowledge and skills

Has strong links and working relationships with service providers and education centres throughout the region

Represents the Loddon Mallee Region at Government, palliative care peak body meetings, forums and working parties etc.
